Silvia Rother has been with G-Fittings for a long time but only recently has she been supporting her colleagues in processing. In an interview she tells us what she values about G-Fittings and what her new responsibility look like.
How did you get into G-Fittings?
After my high school diploma (economics & administration), I found out about job offers in the area of administration and sales for apprentices at the AOK health insurance company. After receiving it I applied to G-Fittings (formerly Antiqua). I was invited to an interview and when I jumped on my bike after the interview I thought to myself: "That was so bad Silvia, they'll never get in touch again."
But then I got a call and shouted into the phone with joy.
What exactly do you do at G-Fittings?
I support the processing in sales.
This includes entering orders, creating delivery notes, writing invoices, creating vouchers, other correspondence, e-mails and telephone contact with the customer.
What do you particularly like about G-Fittings?
Family atmosphere, physio offer, playing and chill area
What is your day-to-day work like?
Enter orders by 12 noon, create delivery notes, write invoices, take phone calls, answer e-mails, create credit notes.
Early or late riser?
I get up at 8 a.m. on the weekend, then I know the day is still long. Otherwise I feel like I slept through the weekend. The working hours at G-Fittings are also great, wouldn't mind if it started earlier.
What is your favorite product at G-Fittings?
Articles in anthracite design are noble. I like to decorate the house with light beige, white and brown and to add anthracite elements.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I love to bake and cook and I like to go for a walk.
What three terms do you think of G-Fittings?
Family, crazy (positive) colleagues, health is very important (physiotherapy, adjustable tables).
What qualities do you need to have for a job in your area?
Be communicative, think outside the box, work in a team, be able to deal with numbers, logical thinking.
