The JORA hinge combines the function of a door closer with a compact fitting for heavy wooden doors. The system enables controlled, automatic closing of the door without the need to recess a conventional floor spring into the floor. It is installed by laying the base profile on the floor, which significantly reduces installation work.
Precise control and convenience
The closing mechanism has two independently adjustable valves. Valve 1 controls the closing speed in the range from 90° to 10°, while valve 2 is responsible for the latching action (10° to 0°). At an opening angle of 90°, the door automatically engages in the hold-open function. The maximum opening angle is 150° to both sides.
Adjustment and load capacity
A major advantage for fitters is the integrated system for fine adjustment. After installation, the position of the door can be corrected by ± 3 mm horizontally and ±3 mm or 4° vertically. The system is designed for door leaves with a thickness from 40 mm and a width of up to 1000 mm.
