During production, ordinary float glass is heated to over 600 °C and then abruptly cooled with air. This gives the base glass improved flexural strength and impact resistance. TSG can withstand high pressures and is also resistant to light hammer blows. Nevertheless, a light impact against the corner is enough to break the glass pane into small, non-sharp-edged pieces. A special feature here is that these splinters do not pose a risk of injury to overhead glazing. Typical areas of application include: Glass partitions in offices Shower partition Facade surfaces Laminated safety glass made to measure Laminated safety glass (LSG) made of toughened safety glass represents a particularly resistant and safe variant of safety glass that is used in numerous applications that require high safety standards. The special feature of laminated safety glass made of toughened safety glass is that it does not disintegrate into sharp shards in the event of breakage, but remains in the glass pane due to its connection with a film. This prevents injuries and makes it an ideal choice for public buildings, schools, hospitals and other facilities where safety is a top priority. In addition, laminated safety glass made of toughened safety glass is also ideal for custom-made glass doors, as it offers the necessary safety and resistance. Typical areas of application include: Balcony railings with drilled holes Sliding doors and glass doors Stair railings Fall protection Laminated safety glass (LSG) made from float glass Laminated safety glass (LSG) consists of two float glass panes that are joined together by a thin plastic film. The interlayer of laminated film ensures that in the event of glass breakage, the glass pane is held together in the case of overhead glazing so that sharp glass splinters cannot fall onto people. For this reason, laminated safety glass is often used for patio roofs. Alternatively, laminated safety glass is also available in the version with toughened safety glass (TSG) instead of float glass. This safety requirement is prescribed in particular for fall protection in public areas. Drilled holes and cut-outs are not possible here. Laminated safety glass (LSG) made from TVG glass TVG glass, short for tempered toughened glass, represents a specially treated safety glass that is firmly bonded together by a tear-resistant and viscoplastic, colorless transparent film. In the event of breakage, it breaks into small, blunt fragments to prevent injury. Due to the large fragments, laminated safety glass (LSG) made of tempered toughened glass (TVG) is characterized by a considerable residual load-bearing capacity. It is available in the following surface finishes: gray, float, bronze, satinato and mastercarré. The glass thickness is available in 6 mm, 4 mm, 8 mm and 10 mm options to meet different requirements..

Bonded safety glass, also known as laminated safety glass, is a laminated glass made of two or more panes of flat glass. In case of breakage, the VSG does not shatter into cubes but is held together by a film between the glass panes, so that no splinters and shards come off. Our VSG glass AINE has a width of 2000 mm and a height of 900 mm. The glass has a glass thickness of 6.38 mm. The glass is transparent.  Use our laminated safety glass AINE in hygiene protection, sneeze protection or glass partition walls. 

Our toughened safety glass (ESG) MELA is the perfect choice for safe applications in homes, stores and public buildings. The glass is available in 1000 mm and 1500 mm lengths with a width of 1000 mm.
