What is a self-supporting glass canopy?

A self-supporting glass canopy is a construction in which the canopy profile is fixed directly to the wall - without any lateral supports or tie rods. Especially in combination with safety glass and wall clamping profiles, this creates clear, continuous lines. The entrance area remains flooded with light, easy to walk through and visually spacious. Thanks to the load-bearing capacity of up to 3.8 kN/m² (depending on the model), self-supporting canopies are extremely stable, even with larger projections of up to 1500 mm.

High-quality materials & tested safety

Our self-supporting glass canopies are made of weather-resistant aluminum and laminated safety glass with a thickness of 17.52 mm or 21.52 mm, depending on the model. Depending on the model, load-bearing capacities of 1.5 kN/m² to 3.8 kN/m² are possible. All systems are characterized by simple installation, well thought-out details and optionally available additional functions such as concealed fastening or LED spotlights.
