The LIJN floor connection profile ensures that glass partitions stand firmly directly on the tiled floor or shower tray. As a solid base for barrier-free bathroom concepts, it safely absorbs the weight of the glass element and protects the sensitive lower edge from hard knocks. The 2200 mm long aluminum profile is designed for glass thicknesses of 8 mm and can be cut to the exact size required. During installation, the system offers maximum flexibility on the construction site: it can either be screwed firmly to the substrate or glued directly to the floor so as not to damage any underfloor heating or sealing tapes underneath. Sealing is carried out in the classic way in the profile bed using silicone.
The profile is available in stainless steel design, chrome design and black, so that it can be perfectly combined with the bathroom design. An optional end cap is available for the open profile ends. We also recommend using the DIEKE height adjuster to ensure optimum alignment of the glass in the profile. The flat design effectively prevents a tripping hazard in the access area of the shower. The flush finish makes it noticeably easier to clean the glass system and ensures that the glass wall remains permanently true to line under everyday mechanical stress.
